AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. On a daily basis, the ideal candidate will have junior to mid-level skills to provide the following support: Handle customer support calls and issues in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 environment setting. Log into using a Domain Controller or Remote Server tool, navigating the Active Directory Interface managing user and group system access issues. Provide support using your understanding of Windows, some Linux, some VMWare / Hyper-V and or Remote Desktop. Have experience setting up, repairing basic computer equipment to include installing new or replacement of computer drives and memory. Ability to learn the understand and implementation of SQL Server Profiler (monitoring) and Agent (automation) tools. Ability to learn the setup and execution of scripts to perform basic queries of data or automation of system upgrades and backups. Ability to support direct or remote interface with customers on technical needs.Clearly communicates technical solutions with stakeholders and team members.
