This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high-visibility mission. This position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive mission objectives. This Program is seeking a full stack software engineer to develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse software systems supporting Analytic Missions. This Program has a robust process to ensure quality of products. The process includes DAT, UAT/SME Validation, Smoke Test, and System Level Test (SLT) prior to deploying products to production. Experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions, with a focus on Linux operating systems. Strong Familiarity with programming languages such as Java. Requirements

  • TS/SCI w/ FSP
  • Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Basic knowledge of RKE2 and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on RKE2 and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and management tasks.
  • Manage Docker container deployments and orchestration.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production environments.
  • Document processes, workflows, and configurations.
