About The Position

Join our TCS team as a System Architect, focusing on Enterprise Cross Domain Systems and related projects. These systems ensure reliable data transfers between domains for various users and programs. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee the implementation of sophisticated, scalable system architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into robust, high-performing technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).
  • DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices.
  • Experience in designing system architectures in Visio.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level systems, including networking, virtualization, and storage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the capability to work independently on projects when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Define System Architecture: Lead the design, development, and documentation of system architectures for new products, features, and services.
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies: Evaluate the technical feasibility and risks associated with proposed system designs.
  • Develop Technical Roadmaps: Create and maintain long-term technical roadmaps for system evolution and modernization.
  • Ensure System Scalability and Performance: Design and implement systems capable of handling high volumes of traffic and data.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay Abreast of Technology Trends: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on our systems.
  • Ensure System Security and Reliability: Design and implement security measures to protect system integrity and availability.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
