About The Position

Experienced Systems Engineer to support development of a variety of military based complex systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of related experience for Level II.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of related experience for Level III
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction
• An existing U.S. Security Clearance is preferred. The ability to obtain one is required.

Nice To Haves

• Use of Model Based Systems Engineering principles to develop SysML Models
• Experience with DOORS requirement management tool

Responsibilities

• Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design.
• Perform system level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.
• Develop system requirement specification for the overall system including verification plans
• Generate overall system architecture to satisfy customer, functional, reliability, and safety requirements.
• Address Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support
• Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis for the system.
• Coordinate and execute milestone project reviews, technical reviews, and decision tradeoff analysis.
