About The Position

Markon is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Level 3 to to support the design, integration, and sustainment of mission-critical packet-based systems for an intelligence community customer. The selected candidate will lead the end-to-end integration of hardware, software, and network components to ensure system interoperability, operational performance, and mission success. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership in complex system environments, and hands-on experience with XKEYSCORE.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 20+ years of relevant experience supporting system design and integration in large-scale environments.
Demonstrated experience leading the design and integration of packet-based hardware and software systems.
Proven ability to integrate hardware, software, and network technologies in complex enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with XKEYSCORE (required).

Responsibilities

Lead the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems utilizing COTS and GOTS technologies.
Drive end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components to ensure seamless interoperability and mission performance.
Coordinate with engineering, development, and operational teams to integrate and deploy capabilities within enterprise environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues to maintain operational effectiveness.
Support system lifecycle activities including deployment planning, operational support, and system sustainment.
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and mission requirements in complex operational environments.
