Requirements
- 14+ year of experience as a Systems Engineer on contracts and programs of similiar scope
- Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting customer dataflows between frontend systems and backend repositories, ensuring efficient data transport and data quality/quantity
- Experience establishing new data flows through the DMR process, decommissioning obsolete flows and helping to debug and restore/reroute flows due to outages, misconfigurations
- Experience with Linux at a proficient level
- Experience with Apache Nifi
- Knowledge of how to submit a request for a connection with Java Data Transport Service (JDTS)
- Knowledge of the following tools; Data Services Wizard (DSW), PlatinumStar, SHAREDIVISION System Suite, ACCUMETRICS, Data Warehouses (EWH, CWH)
- Ability to set up a connection with ISLANDTRANSPORT (ITX) ticketing System (ITXTIX)
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages including Python
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
