Make a difference as a Systems Engineer - Senior Level As a Senior-level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a critical role in guiding engineering teams through a multi-disciplinary approach across various initiatives, including the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG) and Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG). You will take the lead in requirements and solutions engineering, reliability, and maintainability, ensuring that complex projects meet stringent standards for timeliness and accuracy in GEOINT. Your responsibilities will include mentoring Mid-level and Junior-level engineers, conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), and facilitating systems integration activities. By collaborating with the Government to translate mission needs into actionable system requirements, you will drive strategic technical planning and project management efforts. This position requires a strong focus on cloud service capabilities, user requirements analysis, and risk management, allowing you to operate effectively across organizational and agency boundaries while enhancing the overall effectiveness of systems acquisitions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Senior level experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Senior-level working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks.
  • INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
  • Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
  • Licensure as a professional engineer.
  • Membership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations: ACSM ASCE ASPRS OGC SAREM USGIF
  • Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
