We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in structural and/ or mechanical domains to lead technical efforts throughout the full lifecycle of complex software and hardware engineering projects. This role is pivotal in the design, execution, and integration of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical authority from pre-award through project completion or transition to operations, providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership across systems engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • Experience leading the development and design of end-to-end technical solutions, including requirements analysis, feasibility assessments, and technical reviews
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering with at least 3+ professional experience
  • Experience and ability to collaborate, partner and communicate with external clients including delivering technical presentations and engaging with clients.
  • Detail-oriented and have the ability and desire to operate in ambiguity
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in system architecture, WBS development, and engineering process design.
  • Expertise in requirements management, risk assessment, change control, and defect resolution.
  • Proficient in system modeling tools, documentation platforms, and integration methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full technical responsibility for projects from initiation through deployment or operational handoff and act as a main technical contact for external clients
  • Systems Design & Integration: Define system-level architecture, requirements, KPIs, and acceptance criteria, oversee the design and integration of both internal and third-party systems, lead design reviews and ensure traceability from concept through deployment.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end technical solutions, encompassing both hardware and software components and support proposal efforts, including requirements analysis, feasibility assessments, and technical reviews
  • Provide expert guidance during system development, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop, review, and approve detailed technical documentation, including design documents, installation guides, and customer-specific deliverables.
  • Direct and support system integration and testing efforts across FAT, SIT, SAT, and OAT phases.
  • Collaborate with Mobilization and O&M teams to ensure a smooth handover and support post-deployment issues as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management and PMO teams to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
