Systems Engineer 2 supporting the specification, design, integration, and testing of medical imaging systems and electromechanical subsystems. The annualized base salary range for this role is $78,000 - $122,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of system architecture and clinical use of medical imaging systems.
  • Help define system requirements/specifications to meet new customer and user needs.
  • Contribute to concept, specification, and design of medical imaging products and electromechanical subsystems.
  • Implement new and modified electromechanical designs within cost, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Maintain traceability between system requirements, subsystem requirements, product risks, and mitigations.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting at system and subsystem level.
  • Support design engineers and QA through concept, implementation, verification, and validation testing; help define test methods and conditions.
  • Prepare design documentation and Engineering Change Orders per SOPs and best practices.
  • Create and track schedules for assigned work; report progress, issues, and risks to management and core teams.
  • Support design transfer to manufacturing and collaborate with stakeholders across the division.
  • Manage multiple projects under supervision while developing technical expertise and driving innovative solutions.
