About The Position

We are an agile scrum team that is responsible for the Contact Center platform and engineering which provides our voice, email, and web chat communication channels. The Expertise You Have Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 2+ years hands-on experience as a Software/Systems/DevOps engineer Demonstrated proficiency in applying DevOps principles and automating infrastructure with tools like Ansible and Terraform Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including authoring and maintaining declarative CI/CD pipelines and libraries Proficiency with UNIX operating systems and shell scripting Experience with Docker and container-based development and deployment Experience in designing, developing, testing, supporting, and troubleshooting the Contact Center and telephony products would be a plus Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect would be a plus Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues Knowledge of APM tools and techniques to monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot application performance and availability Understanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture which includes considerations for high availability and business continuity Expertise with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) delivery and software design, development, test and operational automation Proven ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframes Self-starter, curious, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn and teach others every day The Value You Deliver Write high-quality code for our applications that is reliable, scalable, and reusable Understand the leadership vision and execute on that vision Strengthen and promote the culture of innovation by setting examples Find creative ways to get things done, and do them right Foster a culture of Best-in-Class software engineering practices Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with the latest and greatest Ensure the high level of integrity in the team Take ownership, accountability, and initiative for what needs to be done Certifications: Category: Information Technology Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 2+ years hands-on experience as a Software/Systems/DevOps engineer
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying DevOps principles and automating infrastructure with tools like Ansible and Terraform

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in designing, developing, testing, supporting, and troubleshooting the Contact Center and telephony products would be a plus

  • Knowledge of APM tools and techniques to monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot application performance and availability
