Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer, specializing in integration and test. In this role, you will work in a dynamic team environment integrating and testing to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the THAAD system, a cutting-edge missile defense system that protects our nation and its allies from ballistic missile threats. The successful candidate will interact daily with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams. Tasks include: operating computer systems (simulations and real hardware) to exercise system-level test, understanding concepts of operation to develop test plans and procedures, and analyzing performance data. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering/Systems Engineering. Mechanical or Electrical Engineers will also be considered.
  • Experience with lab operations as well as developing and performing test procedures.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • this position will require a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Windows and Unix/Linux.
  • Familiar with operating real-time simulations.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability in communication skills, both oral and written.
