The Mission Systems Engineering Team is seeking a motivated and driven Engineering Intern to join the team in our Marlborough, MA location. Are you up for a challenge? Mission Systems Engineering leads the design, development, and production of DoD and Government Communications Systems. We supports customers for Land, Sea, and Airborne Programs for our US military and various international customers, keeping the world safe from foreign threats. You will be exposed to exciting, meaningful, and technically challenging assignments within a growing business. Bring your skills and talent to help our products compete within an aggressive market! As a Systems Engineering Intern your work could support the development of next generation systems, design enhancements/upgrades for existing products, or transition to production efforts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience
  • Proficient knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates history of working well in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior engineers to learn the product area
  • Gain exposure to different specialties within Systems Engineering
  • Develop an understanding of the different stages of the program lifecycle – from development through sustainment
