Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Job Summary: In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. Our Effectors team in Tucson, Arizona integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. This position can be a Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Technical Intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below: (Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment (Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment (Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship This is an onsite role

Requirements

Must be a Junior, senior, or post graduate student by the start of summer 2026 in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby
Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB
Active and transferable US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

3.00 Cumulative GPA preferred
Active and in-scope US security clearance of Secret or higher.
Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and rotary wing aircraft
Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring
Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred
Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and ana

Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in our labs, in the field, or at a test range
Test event support activity may require travel, which is not expected to exceed 15%
Support qualification of our products
Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders
