About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to manage enterprise computer systems and networks for a critical mission. You will analyze technical issues, develop corrective actions, and translate user requests into technical diagnoses and solutions. This role involves migrating customers to new architectures with minimal impact and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance Agency standard solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience in system/network administration or IT support.
• Strong Linux proficiency and knowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C).
• Hands-on experience with server installation and setting up Network-Attached Storage (NAS).
• An active IAM Tier 1 certification (Security+, etc) is required by the customer for consideration.
• TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, RedHat Satellite, Nginx, SELinux/FIPS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, SALT, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• System Management: Actively monitor and manage the status of designated computer network infrastructure.
• Architecture Migration: Develop and implement strategies to transition users to new technologies.
• Security & Hardware: Support hardware installations (servers/storage) and implement security best practices, including PKI certificate maintenance.
