About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION: Supports the Information Technology department in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems supporting core organizational functions. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs maintenance of personal computers including troubleshooting, upgrading, repairing, and installing. Provides first line “Help Desk” assistance and solutions for user calls for assistance. Maintains communication and connectivity for LANS, WANS and VPNS. Prepares instructions as needed to help Goodwill end users better understand and manage technology systems. Keeps complete and accurate records of support calls and solutions. Assists in the gathering of information to be used for inventory control and asset management. Acts as backup for IT Department members when appropriate. Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Seeking a degree (or equivalent experience or secondary education) preferred.
  • Certification in technology preferred (trade school, Microsoft, Citrix, New Horizons, CompTIA, A+ or other recognized entity).
  • Minimum one year experience in IT network capacity position.
  • Must provide own transportation to various Goodwill locations to fulfill the obligations of this position
