About The Position

Western Engineering Co Inc is on the lookout for reliable Tack Truck Driver with a CDL Class A or B license to join our team! As a member of our crew, you will play a key role in our asphalt paving projects by transporting and applying tack oil to our job sites, ensuring that our paving operations run smoothly. Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on the road
• Excellent communication skills; positive attitude and teamwork are a must!
• Ability to handle physical labor involved with loading and unloading materials
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some overtime as needed
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous trucking or driving experience, preferably in the construction industry, is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tack truck to transport tack oil to various construction sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate and timely records of deliveries and vehicle usage
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Foreman regarding schedules and project needs
• Load and unload materials as needed while ensuring equipment remains in good condition
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment for everyone.
