About The Position

The Talent Development & Engagement Partner is instrumental in fostering an inclusive organizational environment, driving continuous learning, and instilling NGL's core values across all levels of the organization. This position is responsible for designing and implementing culture initiatives, employee engagement strategies, enterprise-wide learning, and professional development programs. In addition, this role partners closely with all levels of leadership and Human Resources to align on developing programs, establishing goals and measuring effectiveness. This is an individual contributor role and reports to the Chief Human Resource Officer.

Requirements

  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating learning programs for diverse audiences while cultivating an inclusive learning environment
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles/models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) and leadership development best practices
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to assess program effectiveness and impact
  • Ability to link talent and culture initiatives to business outcomes and long-term organizational goals
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, align development programs with long-term business goals, and plan for future workforce needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to champion a growth mindset and provide avenues for skill development
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative training materials and approaches

  • Proven instructional design skills with the ability to deliver engaging training programs
  • Experience selecting and implementing a Learning Management System
  • Experience implementing and administering a Learning Management System required.
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, Education, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, or related field required.
  • A minimum of five years of direct experience in organizational development, leadership development or L&D consulting required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Talent or Leadership Development methodologies/tools preferred
  • Experience with tools such as DiSC, FranklinCovey, 360 feedback, Hogan, or other coaching-based frameworks
  • Experience working with specific employee engagement survey vendors such as Gallup, Culture Amp, Guilt or other engagement survey platforms
  • Demonstrated ability working with vendors and managing vendor relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

  • Promote NGL's values and drive initiatives that reinforce a positive culture and are consistent with our commitment to inclusion and belonging.
  • Design and implement employee engagement programs to enhance employee morale, motivation, and connection to the company's mission.
  • Administer company-wide employee engagement surveys, including vendor coordination (e.g., Gallup, Culture Amp, Glint), survey deployment, data analysis, presentations, and action planning with leaders.
  • Enhance the new hire experience and implement strategies to boost overall employee engagement and retention.
  • Coach and advise leaders to enhance engagement by providing tools and feedback to create healthy team environments.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to design programs and establish mechanisms to solicit ongoing employee feedback (e.g., pulse surveys, focus groups, exit surveys).
  • Serve as a liaison to NGL’s Inclusion & Belonging efforts and Employee Resource Groups.
  • Design and deliver various learning initiatives, including training modules, workshops, and e-learning programming.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and internal stakeholders to design and create impactful training content that aligns with business objectives.
  • Oversee and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) as the administrator by assigning courses, managing records, tracking course completions, and ensuring data is accurate and timely.
  • Lead the selection and implementation of a LMS including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, implementation planning and communication.
  • Establish and integrate learning metrics and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and present insights.
  • Oversee training projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables meet objectives, is in scope and on budget.
  • Coordinate with departments to import training content from third-party e-Learning vendors to scale learning solutions.
  • Research, recommend, and manage relationships with external training vendors and technology providers.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance learning offerings and assessments.
  • Stay current with L&D trends and methodologies, evaluate tools to enhance the learning experience, and conduct gap analyses.
  • Design and deliver sustainable and formal leadership development curricula for emerging, mid-level and senior leaders.
  • Partner with senior leaders and Human Resources to assess leadership capability gaps. Identify and implement internal and external development opportunities.
  • Implement development initiatives that strengthen leadership pipelines based on talents reviews and succession efforts.
  • Assess, revise and continuously improve leadership programming based on feedback and organizational needs.
  • Manage staff development initiatives and programs including NGL’s LOMA Program.
  • Administer NGL’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
