About The Position

The Talent Operations Specialist supports Easterseals-Goodwill’s (ESGW) mission and strategic goals by delivering administrative, operational, and analytical support across key People Services functions. This role is central to strengthening internal communication, promoting collaboration, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to policy. This position leads the Retail Division interactive process for Reasonable Accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and providing thorough documentation of all communications and decisions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and shifting priorities without missing deadlines.
  • Brings structure and consistency to fast-paced environments and ensures follow-through on complex projects.
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy. Carefully reviews work, double-checks data inputs, and maintains clean documentation.
  • Understands that small errors can lead to larger impacts and takes pride in precision.
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal. Communicates information in a way that’s concise, respectful, and easy to understand. Tailors messages for different audiences and maintains professionalism in sensitive or complex situations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines. Uses sound judgment to triage tasks, escalate when needed, and stay focused on what matters most. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset: Builds trust and rapport with colleagues at all levels. Approaches interactions with empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to help. Acts as a reliable go-to for internal support.
  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • Applicant must pass a background and DMV check.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in administrative, HR, or operations support roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience facilitating or supporting the Reasonable Accommodation process is a plus.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, or HR compliance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retail or nonprofit environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting internal communications, process documentation, and audits
  • Collecting, organizing, and auditing HR-related data
  • Producing clear, visual reports (charts, graphs, dashboards) to enable data-driven decisions
  • May assist with recruitment and/or new hire-related efforts, especially for Goodwill operations
