The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking one (1) Tax Examiner in the Tax Equalization - Valuation Division. What You’ll do as a Tax Examiner: Gain hands-on experience with modern data systems by running sales ratio studies using the DTE Modernization system. Play a key role in statewide property tax processes by preparing and distributing reports to our partners at the county. Utilize advanced Excel skills through data comparison and discrepancy identification between multiple datasets. Support decision-making by organizing and documenting findings for use by management. Collaborate with experienced professionals in property appraisal and compliance, learning industry standards.
