About The Position

BookSmarts is expanding into tax services, and we'd love to talk with you. We're woman-founded accounting firm built on a simple foundation: kindness, precision, and innovative thinking. Part of our mission is creating opportunities for women re-entering the workforce, and we're looking for an experienced tax professional who shares our values.
You'll prepare individual and business tax returns, ensure compliance with current tax regulations, and provide thoughtful tax planning guidance to our clients. Meet with clients to work on various different tax strategies. This is a part-time to full-time, flexible role designed to work with your life.
You have 3-5 years of tax preparation experience and solid knowledge of current tax laws. More importantly, you approach your work with care and attention to detail. You communicate clearly with both internal team members and clients. You understand that behind every return is a real person or business counting on you to get it right.

Requirements

• Active CPA license
• 3+ years business tax preparation experience
• Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
• Experience with creating tax strategy plans with clients
