Our agency brands are consistently recognized as being among the world’s creative best. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst, Tax State & Local, to join our Tax Team. Reporting to the Tax Director for. This corporate role will be based in our Stamford, CT office and requires regular in-office presence five days per week, to engage and collaborate in-person with the team and for meetings as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting
Minimum 3 years State & local Tax experience
Strong accounting skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
Experience with Tax Software systems preferred

Advertising/ Marketing Services experience a plus

Responsibilities

Assist in State & local tax audits
Respond to State & local Tax Notices
Review State & local Tax returns prepared by outside CPA firms
Work with outside CPA firms and interface with their compliance team
Prepare internal tax reports & gather data from the operating units
Analyze state & local tax data and prepare workpapers and spreadsheets to assist in analyzing alternative tax structures
Prepare year -end tax schedules
Prepare state apportionment workpapers
Assist with EFT payments and tax credit certificates
