The Global Technical Specialist (TS) for Metrology is a high-impact leadership role. This position holds the primary technical authority for the measurement and data analysis for timely issue resolution throughout the design, development, and manufacturing cycles. The leader chosen for this role will navigate VEV into new testing capability. This position will utilize a strategic approach to implementing new advancements in digital measurement methods in testing. Work with VEV sites and PD engineers to assist in application development to enhance existing test/development practices. Global process sharing will be required to develop, test, and implement uses of digitized geometry for deployment to relevant PD test sites, manufacturing facilities and suppliers (as required). This position would be the liaison for deployment of best practices – they will need an in-depth understanding of the development processes and measurement / analysis processes.
