The Teacher plans, designs, implements, and assesses an appropriate instructional program in K–12 alternative education settings, with a primary focus on supporting English Learners. This role guides and encourages a diverse group of students—representing a wide range of linguistic, cultural, academic, and social-emotional needs—to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The Teacher reports to the Elementary EL Supervisor or Secondary EL Supervisor, as appropriate, and works under the direction of the Director of English Learners.
