About The Position
COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 94 WEST CHICAGO, IL 60185 2026-2027 Anticipated Vacancy Available POSITION Teacher � Industrial Arts/Technology Education Ability to teach a variety of Technology and Engineering Courses : construction, drafting, Geometry in Construction, etc. Willingness to work collaboratively with a math teacher for Geometry in Construction courses
Requirements
- ISBE Professional Educator Secondary Teaching License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement required or Alternate certification considered for tradesperson with an Associate's Degree and 2,000 hours of documented work experience (in architecture, construction, or relevant area) or a high school diploma and 8,000 hours of documented work experience (in architecture, carpentry, or relevant area)
- Passionate about the trades and able to engage students in meaningful hands-on learning experiences
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Potential for dual credit approval preferred but not required
