Job Summary: The TVI itinerant teacher travels to students and assigned schools to provide direct and/or consultative special education services relating to visual impairments. These services enable the students to learn in classroom and community environments. Services for homebound students may be provided in the students’ home or child-care setting (within consortium boundaries). The students range in age from three through 22 and may or may not have additional disabilities. Student’s cognitive levels may vary.
