The Opportunity The Teaching Assistant position at Greenwich House Pottery offers an opportunity for an emerging ceramic educator to gain hands-on classroom experience in ceramic-based studio courses, including wheel throwing, hand building, slip casting, mold making, and related technical or historical areas. Teaching Assistants are engaged for specific courses and serve for a defined period of time, ranging from a single class meeting to multi-week sessions. Assignments may include one-time introductory classes for adults and families, private events, or courses designed for specific populations such as children and teens (toddlers through high school), older adults, and therapeutic programs. Class schedules vary and may take place in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on program needs.
