About The Position

Under general supervision assists the Manager and Assistant Manager of Respiratory Care in the oversite and coordinating of daily activities and operations of the respiratory therapy department.  He/ she is responsible for maintaining operational workflow of the department for the shifts they are working and will provide direct patient care as an expert clinician.   Assist with overseeing supplies, equipment and personnel including assisting in staff development, training and orientation of new hired and provides input on staff performance.  Ensures adherence to organizational and department policies and procedures, and accepted protocols. Collaborates with the health care team, patients and families, in the delivery of safe, effective quality patient care.
