About The Position

The PCX Team Lead Tetris USB Skid Wiring is responsible for directing activities of workers involved in producing products using technical and complex equipment in an assigned area. Leads encourage a collaborative team environment dedicated to meeting departmental goals and objectives. According to the Supervisor’s direction, the Team Lead sets work priorities, provides direction, and works alongside team members to achieve manufacturing goals. This position provides input to the supervisor on performance reviews and coaching. The Team Lead is required to pay close attention to detail for their work as well as their team’s work. The team lead must be proficient in all aspects of completing the job in their area in a timely manner with a high level of workmanship. Define the goals for the team to achieve daily that will allow for tracking the area's performance. Establish end of the day and weekly team task goals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships.
  • Ability to work 10 hours per day and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements as well as hold their team accountable.
  • Work safely with all equipment, machines, and tools required for job completion.
  • Persistently enforce a safe work environment. Identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, Supervisors, and other departments.
  • Must verify conformance of work to specifications.
  • Understand the importance of quality control, and the different techniques used to ensure that products meet quality standards
  • Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications.
  • Adheres to PCX Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards.
  • Identify assembly and production issues.
  • Addresses discrepancies and remedies the problems. Prevent problems from occurring
  • Assists in the supervision of personnel and is responsible for the activities in their area.
  • Motivate and inspire team members. Resolve conflicts and build a positive team culture.
  • Responsible for the safety of personnel, processes, equipment, and housekeeping.
  • Ensures training and cross-training is conducted and training records are maintained.
  • Assists Supervisor with employee scheduling and assignment of manpower.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment in area of responsibility.Leads operational efficiency by reviewing manpower and equipment requirements based on production needs.
  • Troubleshoots problems and participates in problem solving teams.
  • Identifies, recommends, and assists in the implementation of measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product, and productivity using lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Report inventory use as required.
