About The Position

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Field Services Team Leader to join our Oklahoma City team. In this role, you will successfully ensure that our technicians are properly trained and organized through supervision within the Field Services department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Must have and be willing to maintain basic certifications.
  • Advanced certifications may be required based on the work performed.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
  • Advanced understanding of construction materials testing principles, applications, and ASTM testing standards.
  • Proficient at data interpretation and evaluation of CMT techniques and results.
  • Experience performing field and/or laboratory tests on construction materials and the ability to evaluate test results in terms of specification compliance.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials testing and evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites.
  • Inventory maintenance and organization of supplies
  • Calibration and maintenance of field equipment to include keeping accurate records
  • Promote safety and safety culture
  • Ensure proper PPE is used on project sites
  • Assist with company required safety training.
  • Daily communication with technicians, project managers, and general contractors
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to support scheduling operations and recruiting to maintain appropriate staff among your team
  • Assist with management of field staff
  • Actively mentor and train junior field staff as they grow in their careers
  • Provide support to project managers and department manager as needed
  • Attend project meetings as requested
  • May participate in business development, marketing, and client development.
  • Administer and enforce the local safety program in alignment with ECS Corporate Safety requirements, including development of office-specific safety plans and oversight of audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training and communication, partnering with HR on new-hire safety onboarding
  • Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring timely notification to Corporate Safety and completion of all required investigation and reporting documentation.
