GENERAL OVERVIEW: Primarily performs tasks within HVAC trade. Tasks are primarily related to the operation, repair and inspection of facilities equipment and systems within HVAC activities. Performs general maintenance tasks within other trades. Required to cover off shifts. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates and performs major and minor repairs and inspections to Medical Center utilities systems. Work can include PM tasks, equipment installations and troubleshooting systems as needed. (50%) Performs and documents various tests and procedures for HVAC and other trade-related utility systems. (20%) Maintains daily records as required. (15%) Complies with all hospital and department policies and procedures.
