About The Position

This role is a critical primary liaison between business stakeholders & users and our outsource provider for critical core business platforms such as but not limited to; NetSuite, Salesforce SPIFF, SAP Concur and our future HRIS. Drive delivery excellence from outsourced support teams while ensuring business needs are met and cross-platform integration success. Foundational role in an expanding Business Applications team with significant growth potential. Reports to: Vice President, Enterprise Architecture This role offers significant career development opportunities as Avison Young's Business Applications function matures. Work closely with director & VP -level leadership, gain exposure/shape enterprise architecture strategy, and expand scope as the team grows. Future opportunities include team leadership, expanded portfolio ownership, or evolution into director-level roles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing enterprise business applications
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
  • Proven vendor management and outsource coordination
  • Understanding of system integrations and data flows
  • Strong business acumen in finance and revenue processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite certification or administration experience
  • Prior work in outsourced IT environments
  • Experience with Spiff, Concur, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations and Lead to Cash processes
  • Commercial real estate or professional services background

Responsibilities

  • Maintain internal relationships with finance, operations, and accounting leaders in multiple territories.
  • Partner with global accounting liaison team on core requirements, feasibility, priority and delivery
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Communicate roadmaps, issues, and system changes
  • Oversee with our outsource provider, the delivery of incidents, changes, and enhancements
  • Hold vendors accountable to SLAs and quality standards
  • Coordinate across multiple support partners
  • Escalate issues and track resolution
  • Conduct regular service performance reviews with outsource teams
  • Handle routine vendor payment processing through to AP
  • Advise strategy and evolution for assigned applications to IT Leadership
  • Prioritize enhancement requests and system improvements
  • Monitor system health, usage, and business value
  • Maintain application documentation and standards
  • Co-ordinate any onboarding of new applications into the Portfolio
  • Ensure critical Training Resources are integrated into wider Training Capabilities within AY
  • Align with Enterprise Architecture
  • Partner with CRM Director on Salesforce integrations
  • Collaborate with BI/Data teams on operational analytics requirements within scope
  • Work with outsourced automation teams on process improvements
  • Ensure data quality across integrated systems
  • Lead implementation of new features & changes within portfolio of Applications
  • Participate in cross-platform process
  • Manage system upgrades and migrations
  • Ensure proper testing and change management
