About The Position

About the Role: The company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and selling an advanced liquid coating technology for granular fertilizers to industrial clients, fertilizer manufacturers, distributors, and large agricultural operations . This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales execution, focusing on building long-term partnerships, delivering technical value, and supporting large-scale commercial adoption of the product.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within agriculture, fertilizers, chemicals, or industrial inputs.
  • Strong technical understanding of fertilizers, crop nutrition, or related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Fluent English required

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Chemistry, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the liquid coating technology to fertilizer manufacturers, industrial partners, cooperatives, and large distribution centers.
  • Develop and manage strategic key accounts within Iowa, with future expansion into Illinois and South Dakota.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and performance evaluations.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing recommendations on product application and operational optimization.
  • Collaborate with R&D, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure successful product implementation.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and commercial strategy.
  • Support expansion of the commercial portfolio, including multifunctional adjuvants and foliar fertilizers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the agro-industrial sector.
