About The Position

The Technical Architect at EXLService Technology Solutions, LLC in Indianapolis, IN, will be responsible for software development for EXL’s proprietary LifePro product. Triage client reported production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the issues reported during user acceptance testing and impact evaluation in order to propose and create solutions in collaboration with the client and Business Analysts. Attend requirement gathering sessions to understand end-to-end client requirements. Create technical design documents after analysis of software development life cycle (SDLC) to meet client requirements. Participate in technical walkthroughs for various projects. Help offshore team during T0/T1/T2 estimations by interacting with the Business Solution Architect of the client as required. Analyze business requirements and areas of complexity to find alternative solutions to meet client needs. Research and analyze feasibility of client requests for product enhancements or modifications to existing product. Create component design for impacted modules, along with enhancements and developments of existing COBOL/C# modules. Analyze risks associated with project. Drive initiatives to introduce new processes and procedures to enhance the quality of delivery. Participate in weekly specifications and architecture meetings to discuss feasibility of solutions and new design approaches. Review client pain points with LifePRO Product Owners, Business Analysts to decide on solution for client’s issues or concerns. Create technical design document and perform code fixes or new changes. Review Unit test results. Extensively follow Agile methodology for Change Request/ Modification deliverables to client. Attend daily Scrum meetings, weekly refinement, Bi-weekly retrospective meetings and Sprint planning meetings. Assist in resolving queries from offshore technical developers. Complete quality control tasks at regular intervals to ensure the smooth running of the application and to check that client needs are being met. Handle urgent technical issues at onsite and pass on analysis to offshore if further analysis is required. Telecommuting permitted.
