Zantech is looking for a talented Technical Business Analyst – Alternate Program Manager (APM) to contribute to the success of our upcoming Information Technology Support Services project for a Remote role, with a 5% to 20% Travel requirement. The Business Analyst – will be primarily responsible for full technical business analysis duties as the primary function while also serving as the designated Alternate Program Manager (APM). In the PM's absence, APM duties become the priority. Summary: This is a dual-role position. The primary day-to-day function is Business Analyst – Technical, providing remote business analysis support within the DABAL framework across the 88th RD Area of Operations. This individual is also designated as the Alternate Program Manager (APM), possessing the full qualifications required of the PM and stepping into that role with full authority during the PM's absence.

Requirements

2-3 years of relevant business analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of documented experience directing or managing multi-functional Army Reserve organizations OR equivalent private sector IT management experience.
Minimum 2 years of documented financial management experience.
Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Experience with process modeling and workflow tools
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets; elicit and document business requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams
IT management, contract management, and building systems familiarity
Ability to operate independently and make timely decisions managing a contract and geographically dispersed locations
Ability to analyze organizational/operational problems and develop timely, economical solutions
Highly skilled in verbal and written communications for professional meetings, plans, and memorandums of instruction
Demonstrated financial management capability (minimum 2 years documented)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree
No specific degree requirement.
Qualifications are experience-based.
Required: 5-year management threshold and
Required 2-year financial management experience.
DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)
AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
Required training includes DoD Cyber Awareness, AT Level I, iWATCH, and ATCTS registration.
Travel requirements vary (5–25%) annually

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Prior military service or Army Reserve experience a significant advantage for the APM function.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA
DoD 8140/8570 compliant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CAP)

Responsibilities

Conduct remote stakeholder interviews and requirements elicitation sessions
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements
Develop business cases and propose process improvement solutions
Create data analysis reports and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Support system implementation and business transformation initiatives across the 88th RD AO
Assume full PM authority and responsibilities — authorized to bind the Contractor
Serve as primary contractor point of contact for Government COR and KO
Manage on-site and remote personnel across the 88th RD AO
Ensure continuity of contract deliverables, reporting, and compliance
