About The Position

Position Description: This role will require someone in our client site in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Technical Business Systems Analyst, you will work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites You will work closely with your team and Product Owner and peer Scrum Masters to support Sprint and Release Planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement Your future duties and responsibilities:

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Technical BSA
  • Knowledge of Kafka Streaming Platforms (Kafka Topic Designer - nice to have) Hands on experience in creating API,
  • Hands on experience in Postman API platform (analysis and testing of APIs)
  • Hands on experience in Data Analysis by writing queries to pull data from database.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, system design and algorithms.
  • Skilled at working in tandem with a team, or unsupervised as required.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Kafka streaming platforms
  • Knowledge of BIAN standards
  • Prior hands-on development experience in building Rest APIs

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Kafka Streaming Platforms (Kafka Topic Designer - nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements analysis and gather requirements from various project stakeholders.
  • Participate in design sessions, understanding of Data Models and the Interfaces for APIs.
  • Transform requirements into user stories and assist product owner in defining the Acceptance criteria.
  • Analysis of requirements for building Rest API
  • Create technical documentation for REST APIs using Swagger, Test the request and response, source and targets for web services using Swagger. (Mandatory)
  • Data analysis skill including creating/modifying SQL queries, API Swagger creation, Postman API, SOAP UI or other similar API design and testing tools. (Mandatory)
  • Support team members as required.
