About The Position

The Technical Delivery Manager oversees engineering and delivery of Enterprise Transactional Communications platform using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role focuses on enhancing customer engagement through SFMC’s integration with Adobe tools such as AEM, Real-Time CDP, and Journey Optimizer. Candidates should have strong technical skills in SFMC, Adobe Experience Cloud integration, AWS, and proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SFMC Expertise: Deep knowledge of SFMC modules including Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Adobe MarTech Stack: Experience integrating SFMC with Adobe Real-Time CDP and AJO for audience segmentation, journey orchestration, and engagement analytics.
  • AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Glue, and API Gateway for data exchange and automation.
  • Data Integration: Familiarity with file-based and API-based data flows between CDP, SFMC, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with deployment pipelines, version control, and release management in cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, especially in offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and overlapping responsibilities with clarity and influence.

Nice To Haves

  • GenAI skill set (e.g., experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and AI-driven campaign optimization) is a major plus.
  • Certifications in SFMC, Adobe Experience Platform, or AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Leadership: Oversee end-to-end delivery of SFMC engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Platform Integration: Lead integration efforts between SFMC and Adobe CDP/AJO to enable real-time audience activation, behavioral event-triggered campaigns, and unified customer profiles.
  • Omnichannel Experience Enablement: Architect and implement personalized journeys across email, SMS, push, and direct mail using SFMC and AJO workflows.
  • Automation & Configuration: Manage Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Audience Builder configurations to support dynamic content and triggered campaigns.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure platform stability, performance optimization, and proactive monitoring across SFMC and integrated systems.
  • Team Management: Mentor cross-functional engineering teams, fostering agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, marketing leaders, and IT stakeholders to define roadmaps and report progress.
