Requirements

Strong HVAC/R technical experience
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing people
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Strong communication and leadership skills
Desire to help technicians grow their skills and careers

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver HVAC/R technical training programs
Lead hands-on classroom and field training
Teach core topics like: Refrigeration cycles Electrical diagnostics Airflow and system performance Controls and combustion
Train best practices for troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, EPA refrigerant regulations, and NJ requirements
Support onboarding and ongoing development for new and existing technicians
Evaluate technician skill levels and recommend career development plans
Build relationships with technicians across the company
Be known as the go-to coach and mentor for technical growth
Develop training schedules to help technicians reach their next career step
Create lesson plans, manuals, and skill assessments
Deliver training on: Electrical schematics Commercial installation practices “Pull-through work”
Provide on-site field training
Help expand our Hawks University Training Lab
Develop training modules and competency labs
