Technical Lead - IDMC (Informatica IDMC+Azure)
About The Position
Designing, developing, and managing data integration and management solutions using the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform, encompassing tasks like data quality, data governance, data cataloging, and data integration workflows within a cloud environment, often requiring expertise in configuring transformations, managing data pipelines, and monitoring the platform for optimal performance. Key responsibilities of an Informatica IDMC job include: Data Integration Design: Analyzing business requirements, designing data integration workflows, and creating ETL/ELT mappings using IDMC tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality rules, profiling data to identify inconsistencies, and creating data cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy. Data Governance: Establishing data governance policies, managing data access controls, and maintaining data lineage within the IDMC platform. Cloud Platform Administration: Setting up and managing IDMC services within Azure cloud environment, including user management, security configurations, and monitoring system health. Development and Deployment: Developing and testing data integration solutions, deploying them to production environments, and managing version control. Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to data integration processes, data quality, and platform performance.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts (ETL/ELT)
- Expertise in Informatica IDMC platform features (Data Governance Catalog, Data Quality, MDM, Cloud Data Integration)
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure)
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation
