Role Summary We are seeking a Technical Lead - UI to drive the design, architecture, and implementation of OverWatch, our mission - critical command - and - control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles. This role combines hands - on frontend development with technical leadership, guiding a small team building highly reliable, performant UIs used in real - world operational en vironments. The ideal candidate is comfortable making architectural trade - offs, collaborating across disciplines, and iterating quickly based on direct user feedback from the field. In this role, you will:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 3+ years relevant professional experience; OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience leading technical teams or serving in a technical leadership role
• Experience with different frontend development languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity integrating with a variety of backend APIs.
• Experience working with multiple communication protocols; prior experience with MQTT is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with ATAK/TAK is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team responsible for developing a cutting - edge command - and - control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles.
• Own the frontend architecture, defining coding standards, best practices, and design patterns for UI development.
• Remain hands - on in the codebase, contributing to core UI features, architectural components, and critical bug fixes.
• Partner closely with UX designers to translate design systems into high - quality, production - ready implementations.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape requirements and break work into clear, deliverable milestones.
• Get into the field to observe real users operating the system in training and operational environments, rapidly iterating and experimenting based on end - user needs.
