Optimized Payments is the only fintech firm purpose-built to find and unlock value wherever it resides in our portfolio’s payment ecosystem. We’ve assembled a team with deep expertise across payments specialties to develop a proprietary analytics platform that finds actionable insights. We are an Atlanta based 17-year-old, and growing, company looking for talented individuals who want to grow with us. Our client portfolio includes Fortune 500 firms such as Apple, Staples, Safeway, Priceline, AutoNation, and the U.S. Postal Service. We are seeking a Technical Product Analyst to support the ongoing development and optimization of our products. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, with responsibilities spanning requirement definition, quality validation, and product support. The Technical Product Analyst will collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to ensure accurate delivery, effective prioritization, and clear communication. This position offers a growth track into a Technical Product Manager role, providing the opportunity to move from hands-on validation toward end-to-end product delivery ownership. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Atlanta.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, QA, or a related technical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL with knowledge of relational databases; experience with Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake, triage, and prioritization of bugs, enhancements, and ad-hoc product requests.
  • Conduct smoke testing and perform light QA/validation on technical deliverables.
  • Document product requirements, workflows, and processes to maintain consistency and knowledge continuity.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to facilitate communication, track progress, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Perform preliminary research and analysis to clarify requirements and support technical decision-making.
  • Assist with preparation and validation of data sources during platform and product migrations.
  • Support sprint planning and backlog management by aligning priorities with business and technical needs.
