About the position

The position involves installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment. The candidate will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating products and related performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time, and ensuring effective customer communications and relations. The role may also involve providing onsite training of customer support personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
  • Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
  • May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline.
  • 3 years experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in programming with Wonderware, RS Logix, RSNetworks, RSView, Factory Talk and Siemens software.
  • Ability to read and produce electrical/controls schematics.
  • Review and update AUTOCAD drawings.
  • Design of PLC, HMI, and logic development.
  • Troubleshooting industrial machinery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Heavy Industrial experience.
