About The Position

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead complex, cross-functional technology programs that drive critical business outcomes. The Technical Program Management Director will operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and execution, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact. You will partner with senior leadership, technology teams, and product stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and navigate organizational dependencies. This position requires strategic thinking, operational rigor, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights. You will also shape and mature enterprise-wide program management practices, mentoring teams and fostering a culture of transparency, agility, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in Technical Program Management roles, with 7+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional technology programs.
• Experience delivering cloud-native, distributed systems at scale.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), system architecture, and platform engineering.
• Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Data-driven with strong analytical, problem-solving, and business recommendation skills.
• Experience establishing and executing ePMO or VMO processes.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and leading multi-workstream software delivery efforts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and project tracking software (e.g., JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale technical program management for large, multi-year initiatives across multiple teams and departments.
• Drive end-to-end program delivery, including business case approval, execution, go-live readiness, product launch, and post-launch benefit reporting.
• Partner with Technology, Product, and Architecture leadership to align technical strategy with business goals and customer outcomes.
• Develop roadmaps and project plans, identifying technical and business dependencies across cross-functional teams and platforms.
• Provide executive-level guidance on delivery risks, investment trade-offs, and program strategy.
• Champion agile and modern delivery practices while evolving enterprise program management frameworks.
• Own program governance, including risk mitigation, metrics tracking, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster high performance and leadership growth.
