As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs. The Pixel carrier certification Technical Program Manager (TPM) team is responsible for certifying Pixel products for all the carriers. Our team focuses on lab testing which includes Global Certification Forum (GCF)/PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB), carrier specific testing and industry certification such as Bluetooth (BT) and NFC. In this role, you will rely on their technical knowledge in wireless communication to effectively manage the certification projects for all the Pixel devices. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
