About The Position

This role offers a chance to support and optimize large-scale, mission-critical programs within a complex federal portfolio. You will work closely with program managers, technical teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project interdependencies are managed, schedules are maintained, and operations run efficiently. The position requires someone who can navigate complex organizations, anticipate challenges, and provide solutions that enhance program performance. You will leverage analytical skills, technology tools, and project management expertise to streamline processes, support initiatives, and drive meaningful impact across the program. This role combines operational rigor, strategic problem-solving, and collaborative engagement in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience in technical project management, project scheduling, business process improvement, business consulting, or continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience on large, complex projects, ideally within consultancy or federal environments.
  • Strong soft skills including relationship building, influencing others, emotional intelligence, and exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Power Apps, Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and familiarity with digital project tools.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in virtual environments, manage ambiguity, and exceed client expectations.
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder meeting residency requirements).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification
  • Experience with Digital.ai, ServiceNow, AppDynamics/Splunk, GitHub, OpenText ALM, SDLC, Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, or human-centered design methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support program management by overseeing schedules, interdependencies, and resource planning across multiple projects.
  • Communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams, including subcontractors, subject matter experts, and client personnel.
  • Resolve complex project scheduling and operational challenges with a semi-autonomous approach.
  • Assist in requirements decomposition, systems integration, and business process improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to strategy development, project deliverables, analysis, and client-facing reporting.
  • Support ongoing project management, scheduling, and operational activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
