In this role you will support the Administrator, the OISC management team, and all OISC staff by providing operational direction, program analysis, and technical guidance related to offender sentence computation, audit processes, and applicable laws and policies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance across OISC operations. You will research and evaluate statutes, administrative rules, legislative actions, and departmental policies to develop sound, legally defensible recommendations for the OISC Program Manager, OISC Administrator, DOC executive leadership, and other OISC managers. You are responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining administrative rules, DOC policies, and operating procedures that directly impact offender sentence computation and audit functions. In addition, you will serve as a subject-matter expert on sentence calculation policy and practice, providing technical guidance and support to OISC staff and stakeholders. You will represent OISC on multidisciplinary department-wide and interagency committees and project teams, contributing expertise to initiatives that affect offender information, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
