In this role, you will sit at the intersection of media technology and data strategy, specifically driving initiatives within Audience and Advertiser Analytics. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical execution plans using a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau Cloud) while ensuring the team remains agile and organized.

  • Snowflake: Experience managing projects involving cloud data warehousing, scaling, and storage optimization.
  • dbt (data build tool): Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and modular data modeling.

  • Process Tools: Expert-level proficiency in JIRA for ticket management and Confluence for documentation and reporting.
  • Methodology: Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies with the ability to manage high-velocity workstreams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to "translate" data complexities for non-technical advertiser and executive audiences.
  • A proactive "servant-leader" mindset toward the development team.
  • High attention to detail in technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects focused on viewer behavior (Audience Analytics) and ad-performance metrics (Advertiser Analytics).
  • Requirements Engineering: Analyze and refine User Stories and technical requirements, ensuring developers and data engineers have a clear, actionable path forward.
  • Agile Facilitation: Lead and organize Daily Scrums, identify and remove roadblocks, and foster a culture of continuous delivery.
  • Platform Mastery: Utilize JIRA to organize project backlogs, track tickets, and manage sprints. Maintain a single source of truth for project knowledge and technical specifications within Confluence.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, possessing enough technical depth to speak fluently about Snowflake environments, dbt transformations, and Tableau dashboards.
