About The Position

The Catastrophe and Risk Solutions business of Verisk is looking for a Technical Rotational Analyst. This 1.5 to 2-year rotational program provides visibility into multiple areas of product development, with Software Development and Quality Assurance serving as the core foundational rotations. Additional rotations—such as Product Management, DevOps, or User Experience—may be included and will be determined based on a variety of program and organizational considerations. Each rotation will last approximately 6–8 months. This opportunity is for May/June 2026 graduates to begin their career. The start date for this position is July 2026. In addition to the rotational program, you will also have an opportunity to participate in Verisk’s Early Career Foundations Program (ECFP). Verisk ’ s ECFP is the perfect place to launch your career. When you join Verisk in your first professional role, you ’ ll join an ECFP cohort alongside other recent graduates working across our global businesses. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Degree must be obtained by June 2026 for a July 2026 start date.
  • Note: this position is for new grads only.
  • Familiarity and understanding in one or more of the following technologies or their equivalents: C#, C++, AWS, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Desire to experience multiple aspects of software development.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to an ever-changing technology landscape.
  • This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. If you require work visa sponsorship (e.g., H1-B visa) after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting development and delivery of a cloud-based platform for modeling events such as hurricanes and earthquakes.
  • Demonstrate junior-level expertise in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to implementation and testing.
  • Performs hands-on coding and testing and support within team-based product development group.
