Position Summary The Technical Sales Support & Corporate Trainer serves as the key liaison between the sales team and customers regarding Orange EV truck capabilities and features. This role supports the sales process by demonstrating products, conducting training, and addressing customer questions about operations and maintenance. The position requires significant travel (90%) to customer sites for product demonstrations, driver training, and explaining general maintenance procedures to onsite staff. This role is also crucial in leading internal sales team training on product features, benefits, and practical applications.

Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • 3-5 years of sales or customer-facing experience in transportation, fleet management, or related industries
  • Ability to effectively communicate product features and operational procedures to diverse audiences
  • Port experience in either a technical or operational capacity
  • Working knowledge of vehicle operations and basic maintenance concepts
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills and presentation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate product information into customer benefits
  • Willingness to travel extensively (90%) to customer locations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial vehicles, fleet operations, or transportation logistics
  • Understanding of electric vehicles and their operational advantages
  • Prior experience in a training or customer education role

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer operational needs through site visits and discussions with sales teams and recommend appropriate Orange EV truck solutions in support of the sales team
  • Build customer relationships through effective product demonstrations and training sessions. This may include union and non-union associates at site locations
  • Provide clear explanations of product features, benefits, and maintenance requirements in site demos and commissioning
  • Develop and deliver training content for both internal sales teams and customers
  • Support the creation of practical training materials including training agenda, training materials, fact sheets, FAQs, presentation decks, and instructional videos
  • Serve as the communication bridge between product/service teams and the sales organization
  • Gather and report customer feedback, competitive information, and market trends
  • Communicate best practices observed at customer sites and communicate internally to the appropriate Orange EV departments
  • Conduct on-site driver orientation with test drives and operational guidance for new customers
