About The Position

Position Summary: The Technical Scribe will have the responsibility of accompanying the physician provider and work under the Physician Providers’ direction. Will assist physician during the patient examination in order to manage proper documentation of the visit. The Technical Scribe shall record all visit details in the patient’s computerized medical record of the each patients’ visit as dictated by a physician provider. Technical Scribe will assist under the providers and should possess a keen interest in pre-med, nursing, or medical sciences. The performance of Technical Scribe duties will assure the Physician Provider efficiently sees patients; assures documentation of visit is accurate which in turn allows physician provider to see and manage more patients in a day, The Technical Scribe will assure accuracy of documentation and patients have any education, instructions and documentation required before leaving their visit. Position requires strong working knowledge of software applications

Requirements

  • Possesses Microsoft computer skills, knowledge of word, excel and medical software.
  • Typing proficiency is an essential component to the Technical Scribe role.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer minimum one year of college courses in the medical administrative field.
  • Prefer one year experience utilization of Medical software.
  • Prefer medical assistant certificate.
  • Prefer medical terminology.
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic/hospital setting.
