Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. At a minimum an Associates degree is required.
- 5 + years of relevant technical service or sales, strategic account responsibility, laboratory or manufacturing experience (preferably in metal finishing) and a progressive record of self-starting results.
- Ability to travel regionally, up to 50%, depending on location of home-based office. Most of the travel will be in and around Mussel Shoals Alabama with occasional travel to Birmingham required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills.
- Strong disciplined self-starter willing to continue learning while developing the pipeline in the territory and maintaining existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Manages assigned customers as a first line of support with routine service reports, product deliveries, technical troubleshooting and customer service.
- Provides input to Manager on customer needs, business trends, competitive situations in territory.
- Executes pricing actions Coordinates with application engineering to conduct line trials / (re)solve customer requests and complaints.
- Manages assigned customer accounts in CRM Tool.
- Builds and maintains relationships with customers and distributors.
